Is Your Home Workstation Causing You Pain?
Your Posture is Vital to Managing Head Pain Caused by your Neck!
Working from home has become a reality for many employers and employees during the "lock down" periods and beyond. Not everyone has the knowledge or the resources to be able to purchase ergonomic chairs, bigger screens or separate keyboards to help reduce stress on the neck and back. If you're experiencing neck or head pain from your home work station, then read on for great tips and advice on how to have the best setup possible.
Workstation Tips
Sit in an upright and supportive chair preferably an office chair or your dining room chair
Keep the top of your screen, as close to eye level as possible, raise your laptop up on books and use a wireless keyboard and mouse, so that you dont raise your shoulder up too high and overwork the muscles between your neck and shoulder blade
Try working standing up at a raised bench or table
Stretch, get up and move regularly, at least every 30 minutes
